Philip Carlin, 89, passed away July 16, 2007 at his home in Clinton.
He was born Sept. 4, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pa., a son of Leon F. and Ada M. Carlin. He served in the Air Force.
Mr. Carlin has been a resident of Whidbey Island for the past 26 years. He moved from Philadelphia in 1978, and to Whidbey Island in 1981.
Philip was an accomplished musician, artist and craftsman. He loved airplanes, cars, bicycles, and could fix anything.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Carlin; one son, David Carlin; two daughters Alice C. Hanson and Elizabeth C. Osenbach; one niece, Kathleen Carlin; and three grandchildren, Alic C. Osenbach, Zoe Jane Osenbach and Noah H. Hanson.
No services will be held. Arrangements were under the direction of Visser Funeral Home, Langley.
