Reginald Victor Leffler, 93 resident of Mount Vernon for the past four years, went to meet his Lord and Savior on July 2, 2018. He was born in Sun Prairie, Wis. to Victor George and Agnes Leffler (Fisher). They moved to Madison, Wis., where he graduated from Central High School. After graduation he moved to California where he joined the Air Force. He was proud to serve his country in WWII. After the military, he worked for KTLA channel 5 as a lighting director in which he worked with many famous people in the 38 years before he retired. In 1992 after he retired, Reg and his wife Joanne moved to Whidbey Island to be near three of their children. He lost his wife Joanne in 1995. Reg met Gerd (Pedersen) while he attended a support group at Whidbey General Hospital. They were married 22 years before he passed. The bonus of this marriage created a big family of 10 children, also many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very loved and respected by his wife, children and bonus children and families.
He is survived by his wife Gerd Leffler.
Children: David (DJ) Leffler of San Bernadino, Calif, William (Debbie) Leffler of Freeland, Janet (Kelly) Reid of Clinton, Nancy (Jim) Duccini of Freeland.
Bonus Children: Marit Aarvik of Mount Vernon, Fritjof Pedersen of Karmoy, Norway, Laila Ferkingstad of Karmoy, Norway and Steven Pedersen (Albert Baques) of B.C

Memorial service and reception will be 1 p.m. on July 14, 2018 at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1511 Broadway Street, Mount Vernon , WA 98274.
