Richard “Todd” Martin 54, of Clinton, Wash., passed away on June 19, 2021 after his two-year intense battle against cancer.

Todd was born in Seattle, Wash. to Richard and Jane Martin. He was the oldest of two children. Todd spent his childhood summers on Bell’s Beach with long-time resident grandparents Richard “Dick” and Betty Martin.

Todd and his sweetheart Michele raised their two boys on South Whidbey. Todd owned and operated RTM construction on the island and also pursued his passion in commercial crabbing and fishing.

Todd enjoyed Seahawk football, NASCAR, crabbing and fishing. He truly loved boating and had a special passion for fast boats.

He is survived by his partner Michele Gonsalves; sons Robert (Angelina) Martin and Lucas Martin; mother Jane Martin; sister Kim (Joe) Abellera; nieces Jessica (Fries) Lexee Abellera; nephew Ryder Abellera; and aunt anduncle Nancy (Paul) Simmons.

Todd’s well known laugh, vibrant personality and kind heart will always be remembered.
