Robert Boushey — Dad, Bob, Mr. Boushey, Bush — passed away Oct. 14, 2007 after a long battle with cancer.
He was a gentle, loving man who truly believed that all people shine, each in his or her own special way.
Bob was born in Illinois but lived as an Everett resident since 1944. He devoted his 75 years to family, to teaching, coaching and counseling in Whidbey Island schools, to an active retirement including some travel and always to respecting and caring about others.
Bob was preceded in death by parents, Lena and Herb; brother, Herb Jr. and wife, Bonnie; and sister-in-law, Wallis.
He leaves his loving wife, Andrea; son, Chris, and wife, Norma; daughter, Terry and husband, Don; three grandsons, Ryan, Brady, Matthew and their extended families; brother, Larry and wife, Betty.
Everyone who knew Bob felt his warmth and his passion for life, and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Advent Lutheran Church, 4306 132nd St. SE, Mill Creek. A reception will follow.
