Robert William Daniel died on June 27, 2010 at his home on Whidbey Island where he had lived for the past 10 years.
Rob was born June 3, 1933. A graduate of Queen Anne High School and the University of Washington with a degree in design, Rob was a nationally acclaimed graphic designer and owner of Watermark Ad Agency in Seattle.
A Renaissance man gifted in the art of painting, music composition and piano, he wrote “Aging Well” and taught workshops on life-story writing.
Rob had finished his first novel “Hotel Celestina” and was working on his second novel. Recently Rob had become a literary agent, work for which he had a deep passion. Rob also served in the Army in communications.
He was father of Kathy, Eric and Miriam, grandfather to Claire and Madeline, and husband for 34 years to Kathryn. He was also brother of Skip Daniel and Linda White, uncle to many nieces and nephews, and beloved by his family, many friends and colleagues, and his Springer Spaniel Barnaby.
