Robert Daniel Cook, 41, a 37-year resident of Coupeville, died Aug. 24, 2003, as the result of a motorcycle accident on Highway 525 near Freeland.
Mr. Cook was born May 7, 1962, in Coronado, Calif., to Roger and Ayako Cook. He moved with his family to Coupeville in 1966 and attended school there. After high school, he lived in Everett for several years and was employed by GTE. In 1983 he moved back to Coupeville and worked as a carpenter for a time. He was employed as an electrician for Federal Electric since 1994. He married Theresa Ann Roselli on June 21, 1998, in Coupeville.
According to his family, he loved riding his Harley and playing and singing in the band Endeavor (previously known as Rock Hard.) He also was a certified scuba diver.
He is survived by his wife, in Greenbank; a daughter, Autumn Cook, and a son, Charlie Cook, both of Coupeville; a stepson, Steven Roselli of Greenbank; a stepdaughter, Christina Roselli of Sedro Woolley; his mother, Ayako Cook of Coupeville; his father, Roger Cook of Las Vegas; brothers Charlie Cook and daughter Lauren of Coupeville, Raymond Cook and wife Roni, daughter Channel and son Taylor of San Clemente, Calif., Richard Cook and wife Kathy, and daughters Jessica, Jordan and Savannah of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a sister, K.C. Cook and son Anthony of Las Vegas.
A celebration of Mr. Cook’s life will be today, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m. at Ebey’s Landing. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box C-5371, Seattle, WA 98105.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
