Robert S. Bartlett Jr. was born in Omaha, Neb. in 1922 to Robert S. Bartlett, Sr. and Florence Hood.

He died Oct. 4, 2008 at Providence Hospital, Everett.

Robert graduated from North High School, Omaha, and attended Doan College in Crete, Neb. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Far East Theater in Burma, India and China with the Signal Corps on radar installations.

Robert married Dolores Frost in 1947 and was a loving father of Nancy, (Arizona, Julie (Everett) and Carol (Sedro Woolley). He was predeceased by Dolores in 1984.

He was an enthusiastic fisherman, golfer, avid reader and traveler. Robert met and married Sheila and they spent 20 happy years together traveling many times to Europe.

He was also an active member of Kiwanis, and loved walking, and driving to many places in the U.S. and British Columbia.

Robert will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, daughters and many friends.

Services were held at St. Hubert Catholic Church, on Tuesday, Oct. 14.
