Roberta Bernice Brown Bielstein was born on January 19, 1925 in Yorktown, TX to Robert Carl Brown, Jr. and Alice Lydia Hildegarde Mueller. She was the youngest of three children, with two older brothers, Curtis and Warren.

The family moved to a farm outside of Tivoli, TX when she was about five years old. At age six she started school in Austwell, until the family moved into town when she was twelve. Roberta enjoyed volleyball, softball, picnics, and dances when she was a teenager. On December 25, 1941, she married Martin Luther Sievert. Together they had a son Curtis Michael Sievert in 1943.

After living in New Jersey for a short time, she and Curtis returned to Texas where she was later divorced. She married Robert Lee Bielstein on January 6, 1945. Robert was in the Marine Corps at the time stationed in San Francisco where they lived in a one room apartment until he was discharged. They then moved back to Victoria, TX where her parents were living. After a few years in Victoria, they moved to Corpus Christi and had a daughter, Alicia Gayle in 1947 and a son Gerald Wayne in 1954. Together they raised their three children in Corpus Christi, where she worked for several businesses as a cashier and a bookkeeper. In 1972 she retired and spent the remaining years of her life as a stay-at-home wife, mother, and grandmother.

She and Robert moved to Oak Harbor, WA in 1981 to be closer to family. Her family was everything to her and she believed families are forever. She and Robert were sealed together and to their children for time and all eternity in the Ogden, UT and Seattle, WA temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She remained in Oak Harbor, WA until her death on November 4, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her three children, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for her will be held on November 13th, 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oak Harbor, WA.
