Ron Looker died peacefully May 10, one day short of his 67th birthday, after a 10-year battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Ron was cared for by the wonderful staff at Lake Chelan Community Hospital for the last two months.
Ron was the only son of Percy and Eleanor Janisch Looker, a native Seattleite.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Paddy Caslin Looker and The Best Daughter ever, Cassie Looker of Portland, Ore.
Ron was born May 11, 1940 and graduated from Blanchet in l958 and still enjoyed and kept in touch with many of his Blanchet friends.
He joined the Washington State Patrol in l966, retiring in 1993. His grandfather and father were both retired from the Seattle Police Department, and the family had three generations of law enforcement spanning almost 100 years.
Ron and his family lived on Whidbey Island for 27 years, where he enjoyed riding horses, crabbing, fishing and growing oysters. He loved bird hunting in South Dakota with his cousins, friends and especially his hunting dogs. Ron loved all sports: NASCAR, Notre Dame football and the Zags.
Ron and Paddy moved to the Lake Chelan area in 2004, where they had enjoyed years of vacationing.
Ron will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love for his wife and daughter, his cousins and his many, many friends.
