Rose Marie (Bailey) Koffkey, of Stanwood, Wash., went peacefully home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017. She celebrated her 83rd birthday by entering into His presence.
Rose Marie touched many lives for Christ. She did this by being a godly wife and mother, teaching, cooking and opening her home to those needing nourishment, encouragement and relationship building.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Herman Charles “Lucky” Koffkey.
She is survived by her children Ken Koffkey (Cheryl) of Flint, Mich., Kim LoVette (Byron) of Hemet, Calif., Craig Koffkey of Camp Verde, Ariz., Tim Koffkey (Heidi) of Springville, N.Y.; her foster son Dana Waldram (Ruth) of Everett, Wash.; step children Bob Fittro (Terry) of Snohomish, Wash., Carol Fittro of Langley, Wash.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her sister Judy (Bailey) Beenken of North Springs, Iowa.
A memorial service will take place in December of 2018. She will be inurned alongside her husband at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
