Ryan Christopher Furman, 13, formerly of Langley and now of Plain, near Leavenworth, died Sept. 21, 2003, at Children’s Hospital, Seattle.
He was born May 29, 1990, in Seattle to Rick L. and Diane M. White Furman. The family lived on Whidbey Island, where he grew up and attended Wellington Day School. In 2001 the family moved to Ponderosa Estates at Plain, and Ryan attended Icicle River Middle School. Due to his illness, Ryan had been a patient at Children’s Hospital for several months.
