Sandra K. Woodward

Sandra K. Woodward passed from this life to the next on March 21.

Sandra was born, the only daughter of four children, to Lynn & Helen Woodward on June 1, 1950, in Mansfield, Ohio.

Sandra moved around the country and the world during her childhood, as her father was a career officer in the Navy.

She was a graduate of the University of Texas and watched her “Longhorns” (Hook ‘em Horns!) play on TV whenever she had the opportunity.

She lived on Whidbey Island since 1986 and taught preschool and kindergarten, including her own Montessori School, for 23 of those years. Sandra enjoyed reading and writing, watching movies, making and listening to music and playing games with her friends. One of Sandra’s greatest joys was telling others about her spiritual journey and her love of Jesus.

She is survived by her beloved son Lucas. A celebration of life will be held in Sandra’s honor at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at 6290 Bayview Rd., Clinton, WA, 98236.
