Todd Bitts passed away quietly in his sleep early Sunday morning, Oct. 3, 2010 at Enso House in Freeland from lung cancer at the age of 63.
The second oldest son of Joye and Max Bitts of Seattle and Langley (deceased), he was one of seven siblings. His older brother Tony preceded him in death. After many years in the Seattle radio industry, Todd moved to Whidbey Island in 1991 to help care for his aging parents.
In 1994 he joined Coldwell Banker Tara Properties as a Realtor and was active until shortly before his death.
Todd was a past President of Whidbey Island Association of Realtors, and served on several local Boards including Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, Greenbank Farm, and the WSDOT Ferry Advisory Board.
Todd is survived by five of his siblings; his three children Kim, Craig and Shaun; five grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Blake Cole and Rhett; and a great-grandchild, Gavin.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17 at China City Restaurant.
