Velda Denise Gredgtory born Jan. 14, 1924 in Walla Walla, passed away on Feb. 27, 2007 after a short battle with cancer.

She passed quietly surrounded by her loving husband Francis Gregory and her children and grandchildren.

Denny had graduated as a registered nurse from St. Francis Cabrinni in Seattle. After working as a nurse for Boeing and Weyerhauser companies, Denny and Francis retired to Tonasket. There they lived a truely blessed life enjoying her horses, packing into the backcountry, fishing and hunting.

A graveside service will be held at Bayview Cemetery on Whidbey Island followed by a gathering at the home of Pat and Laura Driscoll in Clinton.
