Virginia Buxton

Virginia Fern Trussell, Keller Buxton passed away Oct. 14, 2011 in Coupeville.

Virginia was born April 25, 1918 in Fallon, Nev. one of five children born to Ben and Elva Trussell.

She married Robert Keller in 1937. She gave birth to four children or the “four B’s” as she called them: Bob, Bill, Barbara and Ben.

Preceding her in death are parents, Ben and Elva Trussell; brothers, Rodney and Bernard; sisters, Bette Hatley and Marjorie Thornton; son, Ben Keller; grand-daughter Tammy; and great-grandson, Christopher Allen.

During her long life, Virginia had worked in various jobs such as clerical worker, nurse, receptionist, floral arrangement assistant and police dispatcher.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Bob Keller and his wife Carol of Concrete; Bill Keller and his wife Shirley of Houston, Alaska; daughter, Barbara Thompson of Oak Harbor; and her son Ben’s widow Linda of Washington; sister-in-law, Dorothy; brother-in-law Tom Thornton; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson with another on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 21 at the Christian

& Missionary Alliance in Langley, with Pastor Ken Parker officiating.
