William Alfred Moody passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008.

He was born June 13, 1931 to Harold and Rosella Moody in Louisburg, Kan.

He graduated from Louisburg High School in 1949. He attended Drury College in Springfield, Mo. before serving in the

U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He graduated from Drury College in 1956.

While attending Drury he met Leah Jean Ettien and they were married on Aug. 21, 1955 in St. Louis, Mo.

Bill retired from Social Security after 32 years of service. He lived in Bothell before moving to Greenbank in 1989.

Bill is survived by Leah, his wife of 53 years; son Michael of San Francisco, Calif.; daughter Lara of Seattle; son-in-law Kevin Fogarty; grandson Finn Fogarty Moody; his sisters Barbara Paul of Ridge Manor, Fla. and Diana George of Kansas City, Mo.; and brother Jerry Moody of Stillwell, Kan.

Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
