William (Bill) E. Zier, a longtime resident of Clinton, died peacefully at home on Aug. 12, 2009 at age 95.

William grew up in and around Odessa and Davenport. He attended Pacific Lutheran College and graduated from the University of Washington.

William is survived by his wife Genevieve and three daughters, Judy Curmi, Rosie Lovejoy and Jane Oyer.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at Christ Lutheran Church in Odessa, in Eastern Washington.
