South Whidbey’s first home match of the season scheduled for Sept. 17 against Overlake was postponed due to rainfall. The Falcons, who play in the Emerald City League, will play University Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Monday at home.
The season has gotten off to a solid start, according to Falcon tennis head coach Karyle Kramer. After losing to Seattle Academy in the opening week of play, the Falcons beat Archbishop Murphy, 3-2, on Sept. 10. All of the Falcons’ doubles teams swept the Wildcats.
The Falcons followed the victory with another when they defeated Bear Creek on Sept. 15 at Marymoor Park in Redmond.
