South Whidbey boys basketball won its season-opening game against Concrete 77-25 on Tuesday.
Junior point guard Lewis Pope led the Falcons with 23 points, while seniors Tyler Heggenes and Maxfield Friedman scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.
South Whidbey scored 25 points in the first quarter, 31 in the second, 21 in the third and six in the fourth. The point total was the second highest total in two seasons, just below when the Falcons scored 81 against Coupeville on Jan. 12, 2015.
