Four South Whidbey High School swimmers combined for eight top-10 finishes at Kamiak Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Kamiak defeated Glacier Peak 129-57. The Falcons train with the Knights but are not counted in the team scoring.

Both South Whidbey relay teams finished fourth. Ashley Lynch, Sarah Zundel, Katie Zundel and Anna Bennett clocked a 2:19.84 in the 200-yard medley relay and a 4:48.83 in the 400 free relay.

Lynch was also fifth in the 100 butterfly (1:16.02) and sixth in the 100 breaststroke (1:26.16).

Bennett was sixth in the 50 free (30.39) and 10th in the 200 free (2:40.1).

Katie Zundel placed seventh in the 500 free (7:02.54) and ninth in the 200 free (2:38.57).

Sarah Zundel finished 12th in the 100 backstroke (1:31.23) and 13th in the 50 free (35.56).

Kamiak faces Shorecrest in a 3:30 p.m. meet Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the Shoreline pool.
