South Whidbey High School’s Parker Forsyth picked up a first place in Kamiak’s 113-56 win in girls swimming at Edmonds-Woodway Thursday, Sept. 19.
Forsyth took the 200-yard freestyle in 2:23.54.
In the 50 free, Ashley Lynch placed third (29.44), Forsyth fourth (30.23), Katie Zundel eighth (32.27), Devin King 14th (35.91) and Sarah Zundel 22nd (40.77).
Lynch (100 butterfly, 1:14.69) and Katie Zundel (100 free, 1:09.58) each added fourths.
Abigail Ireland recorded a pair of sixths (200 free, 2:31.54; 100 breaststroke, 1:34.64), and Sarah Zundel was seventh in the 200 individual medley (3:10.31).
In relay action, Forsyth, King, Katie Zundel and Ireland were third in the 200 free (2:09.66); Forsyth, Lynch, Ireland and Sarah Zundel were fourth in the 400 free (4:42.56); and the Zundels, Lynch and King were sixth in the medley relay (2:25.96).
Kamiak’s next meet is at home with Glacier Peak at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24.
