The South Whidbey High School tennis team picked up its second conference win of the week when it won 5-0 at Granite Falls Thursday, March 28.
The Falcons are now 2-0 in the North Sound Conference standings and 2-2 overall. The Tigers slipped to 0-2 and 1-5.
South Whidbey doesn’t compete again until after spring break when it goes to rival Coupeville (0-1, 0-1) for a 3:30 p.m. match Tuesday, April 9.

Singles: 1, Farriss Jokinen won 6-1, 6-4; 2, Ashley Ricketts won 6-0, 6-1.
Doubles: 1, Alison Papritz/Mary Zisette won 6-2, 6-1; 2, Jenna Pheiffer/Elizabeth Simmons won 6-1, 6-3; 3, Oliana Stange/Chloe Loehr won 6-1, 6-3.
