The South Whidbey Tennis Association is sponsoring a “members only” free clinic on Sunday, June 13, on the South Whidbey High School tennis courts.

The group’s mission is to promote, develop and support the growth of tennis in the South Whidbey community.

Two sessions will be offered, from 1 to 2 p.m. and 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.

Chris Kramer will offer instruction for adults on doubles strategy, Karyle Kramer will lead a cardio-friendly tennis class and Teresa Wheeler will offer a QuickStart tennis session for kids from ages 5 to 10 years old.

Loaner racquets will be provided for children; those younger than 5 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, so now is the time to become a member and register for the clinic. Yearly membership dues are $10 per adult, or $20 per family.

The tennis association also hosts monthly tennis “mixers” for recreational and advanced players.
