University Prep upped its season and conference record to 6-0 with a 4-1 win over South Whidbey Wednesday, Sept. 25, in Langley.
The Falcons’ point came from a pair of freshmen, Austin Buck and Emmett Layman, who won in third doubles 7-6, 6-4.
Buck and Layman “played smart tennis,” coach Karyle Kramer said. She added that the two are “improving every match, coachable and developing confidence.”
The Falcons (2-4) host Coupeville (1-4) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27.
