South Whidbey volleyball is 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the Cascade Conference following two shutout wins over Cedar Park Christian and Granite Falls.
The Falcons’ only two losses came at the hands of the league’s best two teams — King’s and Archbishop Murphy. King’s beat the Falcons 3-0 on Sept. 12. But, the Falcons put up a fight against Archbishop Murphy, losing narrowly 3-2.
South Whidbey is fourth in the Cascade Conference behind Cedar Park Christian, which has a 3-1 league record. The Falcons’ next several matches will likely determine whether or not South Whidbey will earn an outright lead on the class 1A division of the conference.
South Whidbey plays Sultan, a 1A league opponent, at home at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
